Practice Profile
CBDS was established in 2017 by Architect, Conor Boyle. The practice was originally based in Galway, however the office was moved to Dublin in 2020 and is now based in Dublin 1. CBDS offers a tailored and personal approach to projects. We aim to understand our clients and their specific needs in order to develop considered responses to their requirements and add inherent value through creative design. The success of each project is driven by tight management of budget, programme and quality. Our is aim is to offer our clients a smooth and stress-free process from initial concept to completion.
The ethos of CBDS is to enrich the lives of our clients. We aim to use contemporary architectural design to impact the way in which they work and live, maximising the use of light, nature, materials and space.
We have extensive experience in residential, commercial and retail developments both large scale and small. Construction is a costly enterprise. Our in-depth knowledge and experience offer our clients assurance and transparency throughout all stages of the design and construction process. We take your idea from initial brief and concept right though to on site management and eventual handover managing all aspects of the project. This is our all-inclusive service. CBDS can also tailor the service to your needs by offering a “pay as you go” scheme which allows you to select the specific services you require for example, planning applications or assistance with building regulations.
We think of architecture not as a single practice, but as several interlocking ones. Landscapes are inseparable from structures, ecology is inseparable from building requirements, and improving human relationships is the ultimate goal of any project. Aesthetic movements come and go, but we have found these principles to be timeless.
